Angelo Andronis loves creating incredible jewellery.

He is passionate about creating jewellery for the wearer, that can be worn often. And that could be worn someday by someone else, or maybe even re-imagined. 

For 40 years, Angelo has explored and mastered many facets of jewellery design and creation. His many early career accolades are a testament to his dedication to innovative design and impeccable craftsmanship. 

Now, he is the master jeweller behind cult contemporary Australian jewellery brand By Baby and creates one-off collection pieces that are featured in the By Baby boutique. He is also the creator of amazing custom jewellery for – in his words – a truly awesome clientele.

While his signature aesthetic may be recognisable, Angelo’s passion is creating pieces designed with his clients’ inspiration in mind.  Whether it’s a brand-new piece inspired by an idea, occasion or just because, or re-imagining heirloom and un-worn pieces.

The custom process involves design consultations, followed by sketches and/or 3D designs, sourcing and selecting gemstones and once the design is confirmed, the creation of the piece in the James Street workshop. Clients are always encouraged to return as frequently as they like for complimentary cleaning, polishing and checking of settings.
